Al centro di un tappeto persiano, una parte del tessuto viene divelta. Questo vuoto viene esaltato da una composizione di fiori secchi interamente ricoperti da polvere da sparo. La decorazione floreale, mimetica rispetto a quella del tappeto, si fa tridimensionale e si arma di polvere di sparo, svelando per analogia come l’ambiente domestico sia un campo di battaglia alla stessa stregua di quelli che ospitano una guerra.{:}{:en}

The decoration of dried flowers covered in gunpowder at the centre of the carpet carries with it the threat of ignition and the escalation of a domestic conflict into a brutal and damaging war. What emerges from this, is necessity to understand how the scares from these events are embedded around us and continue to try and make themselves known through their effect upon our thoughts and actions.
