Dal luglio del 2019 all’aprile del 2020 ho avuto uno stalker virtuale, uno sconosciuto, che mi ha mandato in totale 46 video di lui che si masturba tramite una piattaforma social.
Combinando il materiale video originale che mi ha mandato con la mia testimonianza scritta in forma di sceneggiatura, Everyday dicks non è solo la mia risposta creativa alla molestia subita, ma anche una riflessione sul potere delle immagini , sulla pratica contemporanea diffusa della pornografia, e sull’era del DICK PIC nella quale viviamo.

From July 2019 to April 2020 I had an online stalker, a stranger, who sent me creepy videos and wrote obscenities to me on Messenger. At the end of it, he sent me 46 videos, 20 seconds each, of himself masturbating.
Combining the original footage the stalker sent me and my witness of this abusive experience, Everyday dicks is not only my answer to the sexual harassment I have experienced, but it is also a film raising very crucial questions about the relationship between violence and the power of images, about the contemporary practice of diffused pornography, and about the ‘dick pic’ era we live in.{:}
